Hello Everyone http://www.v12s.com/indxcc.html (LED Upgrade, Ferrari 355) They have a kit to upgrade all the lights (exterior and interior kits available) to LEDs. Has anyone tried this? From what I understand, only the bulbs would be changed so there would be no difference in 'appearance', only the lights would appear different. If someone has these, could you please post pics so I can decide if they are good/not? Thanks!!
We are coming out with LED bulbs in about six weeks for Ferrari's. They will be bright enough, last a long time, and will work in the car no problems (including the signals). But the idea is to offer them through Daniel at Ricambi. At the moment there is some tweaking of the base of the bulb to be done, then I want to do some testing on my car before hand. But yes, it's just the bulbs. What you have to watch out for is: 1.Not just any LED bulb will do as you need the bulb to have enough LED's in it to make it bright enough. 2.The signal bulbs need resistors otherwise your signal will flash fast and error out as if the signal light is out. So stay tuned. Rorie
The reverse light for the tail lights in 355 is most important. The stockreverse bulbs melt the housings. This same tail light is used in the 512M, 355, 360, 550, 575, 360 Challenge Stradale, and 575 super america.
You need to be very careful with the third brake light as the plastic where the brake light is attached can be brittle.
no experience with LEDs for ferraris but my brother switched all of his work trucks to LEDs and it is amazing the difference! so bright.
