    My buddy.........

Still do not know why the big scoop on the Mustang. It could hide all kinds of engine and intake combinations being tested and not give away what they are doing. It does not appear to be real functional in actual use.

And the Hoosiers on the rear appear to be 7 inch slicks. They are not the size used on pro stockers so it appears to somewhere below that in the performance area.

If it weren't for Don Garlitts, Mr Hill would be either very disfigured or buried under a hill.

Not to sound i know mustangs but i drag raced one for 10 yrs. those tires are at least 10 wide and either 28 or 29.5 high. on a 10 inch wide rim. i can not see if it is mini tubbed but in this trim the car could run low 8's in the 1/4 mile depending on the power plant. these cars are easy to make 1000 plus hp with either nitrous or a blower. this was my Bad boy. the tire on the back of my car was 10 inch on a 12inch rim. 29.5 tall

they need to slam the rear end but thay would have to mini tub it. i can see it is not tubbed. there is to much rake. it does look great. im thinking about building a new 5.0 or buying a 6cyl and adding my true tested 1200 hp 347 combo.

If that is a factory made car, hats off to Ford for having fun like the good ole days. That thing is pretty fantastic. I agree with Jeff D that is does look like a retro Boss 429. Bad ass car. I wish I could still walk into a dealership and order a bare bones, huge HP Mustang with roll up windows, LSD, no AC and no radio, like you could in the 60s.

I heard a story two weeks ago that there were cars ~like~ that (less than 20 built) that had the Boss motor, 3.73's... and VERY few options. Most were halted before taken to various dealers; but a few slipped through the cracks. The same thing happened a few years ago with GT500 motor/trans finding their way into base stangs.
