    Hi everybody,

I am looking for F430 Outer Tail lights both left and right.

From the pictures, the Outer Tail Light with the orange indicator in the middle is the one i am currently using. But i am looking for the other Outer Tail Light with the white/clear light in the middle.

Does anyone know where to buy/order this part?

    Appreciate your help.

    Thanks.

It looks like both tail lights having the center white light are identical. So I suppose you'll have to buy an extra tail light for each side having the white center light. This will cost you quite a lot (I read here something like 800$ per tail light...). You will have also to transform it because the internals of the inner tail light are different to the outer tail light. Here it will all depend if your car is US or non-US.

Have a look to our thread regarding the transformation of tail lights :

You can buy them from Ricambi, but as SfefVan stated you will have to do some modifications. After seeing pictures of a car in Korea, I thought those yellow centers were great looking, haven't seen anyone switch to those in the US. Do those tail lights illuminate the inside 180 degrees or a full 360 degrees when headlights are on? Are you in Korea?

    Hi guys,

Thanks for your replies, i'm from Malaysia and driving a Euro spec F430 07'.

Stefvan, thanks for your thread and good job on the mods. I don't mind to buy new Outer Tail Lights each side but just afraid that can the U.S Tail Lights able to fit my Euro spec without having fuse or else it might screw up the ECU as mentioned in your thread.

Brambleworth, i have liaised with Ricambi regarding the parts, their response are fast, they have confirmed that the Outer Tail Lights with the white/clear dot are U.S spec and they have the parts, yeah~ but they cannot confirmed if it is operational to the Non-US spec. Would love to have those fit to my car, just thought it looks nice with the 2 white/clear dot rather than an orange and a white combo.

So, need you guys expert advise, do you think the US Outer Tail Lights (Clear) can fit and operate the Euro U.K 430 (Orange dot) without any complications? :)

i was actually thinking of buying the Novitec Black Tail Lights, since they have all the clear lights in the middle, but this will be the 2nd option if i can't get the U.S Outer Tail Lights (clear).

Sometimes i think with the lights too black can make the car too aggressive or 'fierce' rather than beautiful. I just thought it needs a little red light to have a nice contrast with the car.

That's the thing about modding a F430, it is already beautiful, its how to make the beautiful car more beautiful without over doing it.

    What do you guys think?:)

    Cheers

They will fit, mechanically speaking. But the way the US outer tail light is equiped inside is certainly different compared to the EUR outer tail light. The EUR wire harness is different too. You need to get the specs of the US outer tail light (which I don't have) and compared them with the EUR outer tail light (detailed on the thread). So be prepared to some serious wire and interior modifications as we did in our thread. Don't expect to be plug and play ;) Maybe Novitec would be an easier route to take.

If it's the same as 612 (lenses looks very similar to me)

Open the taillight assy. Unscrew the amber lens inside and remove it. Put taillight together and "Bob is your uncle".

i just tried this and it unfortunately does not work.

There is no way to reach inside the sealed assembly, even with the electrical connector removed. F430 lamps are quite different from 360/550/612/etc design.

Moreover, the amber section actually contains the reflector molded into the plastic. If you remove that and simply have the clear center remaining, the light diffusion would be bizarre. It would look like a single white bulb in the middle of a single/flat/clear piece of plastic.

612 and F430 (& Enzo) are the same size. 612 units can be opened. F430 and Enzo are as you said glued together. 360 are different size and design. I have both Euro and US taillights for 612 in the workshop. Both are the same but Euro outer have the removable amber lens inside.

Get a pair of Euro inner lights and replace the outer?
Use the bulb sockets & wiring from the originals.
Are there any amber H5W bulbs available?
