Anyone up for another 4th of July pool party at the big house?
Luca and I will be in the general area already... we're going camping on Mt Mitchell that weekend. I'm not sure if our tent+gear will fit in the Ferrari however.
My wife and I will be in town. And, yeah, I know I've told you a couple times that we'd come over and then didn't make it, but there's always a first time...................
OK it's on! I am trying to get a tour of my new job but that is a tough sell. Set the date! Bring a bathing suit! Burgers on me!!!!
Not sure yet. We have almost always only done it on the day itself. Let me check with my brother and get his thoughts.
Dr S, nice meeting you and the Mrs. at Ricambi Rally. Will try to make it if my schedule allows. Let the forum know if it's the 4th or 2nd.
We are setting up... Hope to see any and all of you on the 4th. Starts about 12, but come when ever you like.
Dar and I are hoping to make it again this year but my calendar is an explosion of color (now that Google does the color thing) and it's packed all the way through the end of August. Attempting to move things around to make it now but not promising. Sure hope we can make it - great times!! THANKS(!!!!!!) for making it happen!! Cheers & C U @ d'Track!! There's a good possibility that Judy and I can make it. I'll advise as the date gets closer. Sounds like fun.
We can make it over on the 4th I think. And I think I still have a map around somewhere from the last time you sent it. Looking forward to it!!
OK. I'm back on the correct thread. Since this thread says "rally", does anyone want to plan a drive through some mountain roads before the party? I'd be happy to map a route, would just need to know a good starting point and a time.
I would suggest starting early with a breakfast stop somewhere along the way. The route could start in Morganton then go up Hwy 181 to the Blue Ridge Park way then at grandfather mountain take hwy 221 to Blowing Rock then down the new and "slow" 35 to 50 mph hwy 321 to Lenoir to the Dr. Just an idea!!!
