Great stuff. I have a file [of course] with the previously posted thread. This is a wonderful addition. I just wish there were more s/ns with this kind of provenance. Thanks much just one man's opinion tongascrew

Seems that Audrey is the one doing the sharing. These wonderful stories and memories are so much of what makes it precious now. The sad part about being treasures now is the provenance no longer accrues. Another fifty years from now there will be no first hand accounts. What a great reunion, you both must be high as a kite. Thanks to you and Audrey for sharing. This thread should be cross posted to the "I don't get vintage racing" thread.
Great comments. This is what it really is nall about. Congratulations. just one man's opinion tongascrew
Very nice pictures Manny. This thread is like others, a small treasure of documents, and history. For this picture you put really in evidence the great lines of this car, magnifique! Image Unavailable, Please Login

Well out of my league here but as we know the lowly 330 gt requires that same thoroughbred treatment...seats, carpet, tunnel, A/C if fitted...a fun weekend to be sure... It is wonderful to see and share the exchange of missives between you all on this bit of Fcar history. Many thanks and all the Best. D.
Picture does not show a 250 MM Spider Vignale or 0348 MM but rather a 166 MM, car on painting has two instead of three portholes, covered headlights, different windscreen, etc. Marcel Massini
NO. This is a 3-liter 250 Mille Miglia Spider with body by VIGNALE. S/N 0348 MM. The barn find on cover of Cavallino is a 2-liter 166 MM Barchetta with body by TOURING. S/N 0052 M. Totally different animal. And about 3 years older. Built 148 cars before that 250 Mille Miglia. Marcel Massini
This is the first time I have gone through all 4 pages of this thread and had never seen all the pictures from my scrap book that Manny put in, including the fat pics, thanks, it was great fun for me. Audrey Saffell Sundin, now 76 yrs old.
