I'm going to disconnect my cat ECU's. So I am looking for a bad one to put in there so it still looks OEM. I have one bad one. Looking for another bad one. Anyone save a bad one? I'd take some bad thermocouples also if anyone has any. Gutted and internally tubed OEM factory cats and 348 spider muffler going on soon. Waiting for new gaskets and I can put it back together. Should only take a few hours to reinstall everything.

I don't understand your need for a "bad" cat ECU. If you plug a bad one in you will most likely get intermittent slow down lights and possibly shut down a bank of cylinders. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

I have one bad one. Looking for another bad one. So I can have the bad ones in my 348 but disconnected. That way it still will look stock and I can keep my 2 good ones in a cupboard instead of staying on my 348 where (in time) they may go bad from moisture etc.

    Thanks

I've got a defective 355/360 cat ECU sitting around.... not sure if it's the same as a 348 though.

Mine has Parma-Italy on the side. TIPO 839 DIS. No 142581

80 x 39 x 28 mm deep. 6 wires in one plug and 2 in the other plug. I can take some pictures if need be. I'm pretty sure the 355 used the same units. I can't believe they still use these in the 360's.

    Thanks
    Rodney

I just looked up your part number. It is different than mine. Yours looks like the one pictured on top (2 male plugs); but mine has no wires coming out, just 2 female plugs - pictured beneath.

Still looking for a bad 348 exhaust ECU. Anyone replace one and save the bad one?
