I need a favor. My friend is looking at his first F-car and would like to see a Carfax report. I know that generous fchatters have before offered to look up a VIN. Can someone with a Carfax subscription help me out? The VIN is ZFFYU51A3Y0120545.

Forget carfax. Google the VIN. The first link that comes up is a salvage car link. Additional links show the asking price for this car steadily dropping from mid 80s to now mid 60s. Not sure a salvaged 360 is the best choice for someone's first Ferrari.

Then again, maybe it's a great buy. Take it to the 360 section, maybe someone there knows the back story on this car.

    From their website:

"The low cost of salvage cars for sale is greatly attributed by the salvage titles that they have. The damages are not considerable, so practically any salvage car here can be repaired and resold again, or left for personal usage."

So your friend should use caution.

Indeed. This car is priced pretty low and this could be the reason why. Still, it'd be good to see a Carfax. Can someone help me out?

So, someone is considering a $65k salvage 360, but doesn't want to spend $35 to run a carfax report.....?

I really hope someone helps you out, if I sound discouraging I don't mean to, but your friend needs to step back and look at the big picture.

Not be too argmentative on my first post, but nowhere is that VIN listed under the salvage car section. However, it is listed under the used car section. http://www.salvage-cars-for-sale.info/used/ferrari/in-washington/

From what I have read, the website also is listing used Ferrari located at dealers. If I was a dealer that had a Ferrari with a clean title, I would not be too happy to have the car listed on something that says "salvage car" in the URL

    Peace.

You're not being argumentative, it's all good. And welcome.

The car is on that site probably because it was a repossession.

This post should be moved to the 360 section where it belongs.
