Just curious. Did it on my bike last summer and I find it hard to believe any sports car would make it up there. They do have a corvette hill climb annualy, so that got me thinking that the f car could make it.

    My concerns:
    1. The unpaved road at the top (rocks and such. although I guss it doesnt matter at only 20ish mph)
    2. The really sharp steep twist right before the top. (scraping)
    3. Wearing out the clutch, esp if you have an F1 tranny.

It seems like a fun trip to do in the fcar, but would you do it?

A friend of mine sent me a photo from the top of Mt Washington and there was a yellow F355 there. Not sure if it's an FChat member but I guess it proves it's possible. I'll see if I can track down the photo.

We took 3 FCars up Wachusetts and caught the sunset. That was fun. I have only taken a Subaru up Washington.

I have. I brought my 308GT4 up about 5 years ago. The day was beautiful, and a bit of a line at the bottom. When we approached the ticket guy and he asked "what kind of car is this?" I told it was a '79 Ferrari 308GT4. He replied "Ferraris go up for free today." NICE! It was a great ride up. I took a few pics of it up there and will have to find and post. The trip down was a little tough on the carbs where she wanted me to get into it, and just not let the compression of the engine keep her speed down. I have a Tubi exhaust w/o the cats and she was popping a bit on the way down--a guy on a BMW bike was following me down and I kept watching him in the rear view as he was thinking the pops were coming from his bike! It was fun. You can only imagine the days they used to race up the hill without any barriers. One mistake, and its Buh-Buy!

We took our '88 328 up a couple of years ago with my buddy in his Porsche. It's loose stone the last 1/3 of the way or so, but an easy trip to the top

There is a semi truck cab entered at the Mt Washington Hillclimb next weekend. That should be fun to watch.

Wow, that was really crazy. That's an interesting notation he uses to direct the driver. It's a great video for people wondering what it's like to take the F-Car up there. You can see the long stretch of dirt road near the top. When people explained it earlier in this thread I didn't image it being like that. It's great to see it on video.
