Nobody is asking Massa to finish ahead of his team mate, Barrichello and Irvine were slower than Schumacher, but they were not so far, and gave important points to the team. But Massa right now seems that he even can´t get the car to the line. He had a lot of DNF and broken wings these last two years (the last one just a week ago). He even had problems to let his faster team mate pass when he was asked for.

I defended him back in 2008, but I think this guy has lost the plot. Pat Fry had already expressed his lack of interest on Massa, and now that´s he´s the boss I suppose he will try to get rid of him.

I agree. Which is also why i mentioned a few times in a few thread that this season is do or die for Massa. IMHO, he needs to pull up his socks this season, or risk being replaced.

Quite true (particularly the sister bashing bit ;) ) but the one thing that Ferrari needs in a #2 is someone who can and will win when Alonso falters. As much as I like Massa I think he fails there.

My problem is who do you replace him with? ["The devil you know"]

Kobi is getting some support, but as I said, he's still a crasher. And would he be any quicker than Phil? And of course, he needs to be ~0.5secs behind Fred.

I'm liking Di Resta so far, but not yet.

Given a little luck I still think Phil can do it.

    Cheers,
    Ian

I would like to see Massa be replaced with Webber or Button.

Massa has had 5 years to prove himself, and it looks like he has hit the plateau at Ferrari 2 years ago.

Massa could jump over to Force India or Williams, for the same money but more opportunities.

I read the problem with Webber is, can he bring any major sponser cash with him.

I can't see Mclaren letting go of Button easily either.

He didn't plateau 2 years ago, he apogeed. Ever since he is on a decline. Time to move on.

At this point I don't really care who takes his seat as long as it is somebody other than him.
