Yeah, no need for more projects for me either. But I look at a deep polish and let it go for now, seat covers and self service. I'd try to get her on the road for about $2K. Of course I don't have the purchase price or the 2K right now. My mondial keeps my bank account from getting too full. I just hate to see complete straight solid engine/trans cars parted out.
1980 308GTS in Southern CA $15K no reserve! Not mine. WARNING......Very Rough!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NO-RESERVE-US-Version-current-CA-registration-/290576288183?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item43a7b249b7
I saw that price and tried to think of every which way as to how it could be a good deal. In the end, I couldn't even justify it to myself much less my wife. That car would be a fair price at $10k and not a dollar more.

Note Salvage Title.....owner just joined us, in the "Might be a Good Buy" thread, the salvage is from a theft recovery, and a Tech at the local dealer is vouching for the car...as well as the seller. This might be one for you, Will??? You'd look good, cruising Panther City!!!!
you might want to read some of the other details on this car and see the other thread. I think "wrecked" isn't the classification that belongs to this one.
The asking price of this one might be a bit above the typical "cheap 308" in this thread. Front spoiler looks beat up, interior is tired. But who knows, you might get it for $25k and it would be a fun driver. http://www.briansautocenter.com/used/Ferrari/1984-Ferrari-308-920077020a0a000200fe4dd2eb615e68.htm
This is a GREAT car at a GREAT price from what I can see. When I start my "collection" after the Concorso, this will be one of the cars I pick up if it is still around. My wife would look HAAWWWTTT driving that thing around town.
Depends how hard that lift front quarter was hit & repaired properly, I thought about it but I'm currently involved with other financial responsibilities, not this year.
ZFFAA02A3A0031883 This 308 was on ebay during June 2010. Where is it? Who remembers it? Email me or contact me however you see fit..... I want to KNOW INFO on THIS s/n Help me find it.....If I can buy it, which I will, from whoever at a reasonable price.......... A finders fee is a thing I EXPECT and can live with

Thoughts on this car? I am new to this forum and to Ferraris, but this seems very tempting.... http://cid-8a2e25463cc73c43.office.live.com/view.aspx/308%20GTS%20QV.docx?Bsrc=EMSHOO&Bpub=SN.Notifications

Not much information in the ad either.....
That's priced too right... If you could do it in person then do it. Make sure you get the title that day. But do it
