    I want to instal a stealth radar detector. I want the installation to be clean. I have determined the best location is to mount radar deter is on front bumper behind the nose piece. I will also be mounting laser shifters behind the front grill. Does anyone know the step involved in removing the front number?

    Search for front challenge grill install. There is someone that did a great write up on it with pics and everything. It's what I used when I installed the challenge grills and italian horn!

    I too am needing to install shifters on my 08 430. I was concerned about grill obstruction. I don't think we have any other choice. What shifters did you get? I went with the interceptor. I would also be interested in hearing the other aspects of the install. Thanks.

    Brian, thanks for the drawing. I have decided not to install shifters at this time. My original plan was to use the escort 9500ci. However I live in a small town, I am not confident anyone can do this for me without messing up my car.I may try self mounting the shifters under the car, they are only 3/4 inche thick... However at the moment I am unsure and will continue to research. I too am concerned placing the shifters behind the grill. But there just is not another good location.
