Does anyone use a polish for the Bra or do you just clean it with water?

    Thank you in advance

I'd go straight over to the best detail shop you can locate and ask them.

I've used Meguiar's NXT as a wax with no ill effects.
Many of the car detail— wax companies have developed safe cleaners for clear film that may be better than the NXT I've been using, I will assume.

Plexus is the best I've found. Works good on keeping bugs from sticking. Seems to also moisturize material. They use it a lot on airplanes lexon(?) windows.

Adam's Polishes makes a good clear bra polish.

Are you talking about simply cleaning the film?? or actually polishing it as you would the paint to remove swirls and such blemishes??

If cleaning I like Plastix from Meguiars, if polishing out swirls, I would refer a finish polish with a very soft pad as film is much more delicate then paint.

I would call the manufacturer of the film for their advise.
A little google searching will bring up their numbers

Same. Recommended by my 3M clear film installer and has many other "household applications."

Plexus is a bad idea. Spray a little in a glass and let it dry out. It leaves a yellow residue. On your clear bra it can lead to the film turning yellow. There are many different films and they all respond differently. In general most films have a very thin clean coat that can be polished and waxed. Most films can be buffed with a high speed buffer if the person doing the buffing knows what they are doing. NXT should be good for your car. Just keep clear of the edges so you don't get a white residue.
