had a lovely drive up! About 25 cars, Ferraris: 348,355,360, CS, 430, Stradale, 458s, Carrera GT, SLS, GTRs, Zr1, Zo6, Benz Black edition, Gallardo Sypder and a few more.... On the way out we stopped at Spring Mountain for some track time and rides in raticals! WOW! You cannot believe what they can do. Spring Mountain is incredible. An amazing place that you have to see to truly understand. The tour, lunch, track time and radicals were awesome. Thank you Jeffrey and the Spring Mountain Crew! A+. A very special thank you John and Travis and the Auto Gallery for running Tech Support!

Sounds like a blast. I really like Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch. I used to join in with the Porsche Club for their HPDE events.

I got a ride in the radicals when I was at the Lamborghini Driving Experience a couple of years back. They are pretty awesome.

Dusty, many thanks for organizing a fantastic weekend in Vegas - the best Pauper's Run yet! Also thanks to Jeffrey and the folks at Spring Mountain for hosting an afternoon at their first-class facilities.

John, Travis and Jason from the Auto Gallery once again provided drive support as well as hosting/sponsoring several events. Their support allows us all to have a worry free weekend and focus on having fun! We are fortunate to have them involved with the run.

Speaking of fun, Ryan (ryalex) also offered to represent us if we had a little "too much fun" during the weekend - thanks man, and it was great catching up with you again after all these years! I am happy to say we did NOT need Ryan's services during the weekend, lol. :D

Since I'm sure lots of car pics will surface over the next few days, here is something a little different - I had an opportunity to try out the S.A.W. machine gun at the Gun Store:

Another great trip.. first off, I have to give a big THANK YOU to Travis and John @ Auto Gallery.. my 360 was having issues Saturday afternoon. I thought I had a dead battery which would be solved by jumping it Sunday morning.. they woke up very early and were waiting at 8am to help me out. Unfortunately, it required taking the car to Ferrari @ Wynn, apparent charging issue. I am glad it happened @ the Wynn and not 150 miles out in the desert somewhere! Travis and John graciously handled everything for me by getting the car there and calling Rich the service manager to have them open the shop for us!

Thank you Rich/Penske-Wynn Ferrari, for coming in with your technician n Fathers Day no less to help me! That was way beyond the call of duty. The bad news is, it wasn't an alternator as we hoped, which Rich had waiting before we came to install.. we had a fried alternator wire harness. Apparently this is a known issue on early 360 where there is a bad crimp which can cause arcing and high resistance/heat in the cable. Rich emailed me a detailed quote and lots of photos documenting every issue he found. Couldn't ask for better service.

Although we weren't able to fix the problem, I am very honored grateful to have everybody go way out of their way to try and help me out on such short notice on a Sunday. My hats off to Auto Gallery and Wynn Ferrari for their efforts.. thank you!!

Thanks so much to all that made this event happen especially to Dustin and Jeffrey. I was so impressed w/ the Spring Mountain facility. Jeff, that ride in the radical was as much fun as sky diving! What a blast!!!!!!!!!1

Up until two weeks ago I had never touched a gun. I took my wife to a local gun range for "date night" a couple of weeks ago to try something different - we absolutely loved it.

Be afraid - very afraid! Actually, it's my wife I have to worry about - her first two shots ever from a handgun were bullseyes. First pic is her at the range, and then back to our regularly scheduled thread - the facilities at Spring Mountain, getting warmed up on the track, the Radicals and our fearless leader Dusty (in the orange hat) fueling up before one of the drives.
