    Movie starts @ 7PM, Friday , June 24, 2011

Plans are to line up in the Home Depot Lot in Elmwood and caravan in, leaving Home Depot at around 5:30pm. Then we will do some parade laps around the AMC Elmwood Palace 20 and park in a designated parking spot. We will have a Jefferson Parish Police Officer take care of our cars while we are watching the movie.. You do not have to caravan in with us and can arrive later, of course.

As of now AMC Elmwood Palace has plenty of tickets available. That is why we chose this date, time and theater. So you can stop by the theater anytime and get your tickets ($14) or order tickets ($15) online. But as I’ve mentioned, please get your tickets soon, as this is the first night of Cars 2. Please make sure you are getting the tickets for the Cars 2 – 3D , Friday , June 24th, 7PM show at AMC Elmwood Palace 20. Here is the link to order online :

    Tickets will go quick…

I am taking the kids to Elmwood tonight but he 6:15 show. Cars was their first time to the Cinema so this should be fun. Will check the cars out in the lot as we are leaving.

Great idea; wish I could make it.

The family and I caught a 2 PM showing. We all loved it. Some of the city scenes looked like photos; incredible.

Did anyone else find this movie to be devoid of any laughs?

I'm voting this one of the worst sequels ever. Which sucks because Pixar normally does it right and the budget looks to have been unlimited on the animation.

I'm guessing Pixar really, really didn't want to make a sequel, but their Disney overlords had other ideas.

I and the rest of the family thought it was entertaining. I enjoyed "spotting" the cars in the background. The animation was stunning, especially Porto Corsa. Afterwards my wife was talking about traveling to Italy. :)

Yep; silver. Sorry, I didn't notice you weren't subscribed.

Generally speaking the majority review is:

-not as good as the first one
-too much rant against big oil
    -great animation and car spotting
