I do. Usually at dusk when its still in the drive before I put it away. The lines are just achingly beautiful. The shadowed light hides the few imperfections, reflections, and it just becomes one beautiful whole. Its black, so all of the design elements pull together as a single piece. It looks purely wicked. It tells me that it needs to be north of 120 mph and its alive and ready to do that anytime I ask. Its legendary history speakes to me - there is no other car in the world that can approach its beauty, its purity. I could stand there and look forever. Driving it is a sublime experience. Owning it is my greatest joy. Its a FERRARI.

Yes - all the time :)

Sometimes I just go into the garage and pull the cover off just to look
at the car for a while. A true thing of beauty.

I went out to rebuild carbs on another car in the garage and ended up just pulling up a chair and looking at the GTB lines and reflections. Again. I never seem to get much done in the garage these days.

The Ottawa chapter of FCA had its Ferrari Festival last weekend. I guess there were 30+ Ferraris, and what I observed is that each and every one of us thinks his/her Ferrari is the most gorgeous example! There's a real pride of ownership that's difficult to describe, but I do think that each one of us owns "the most perfect" example somehow. It's kind of cool actually, and I noted many admirers who simply love the brand -- I didn't see any overtly jealous reactions from the thousands of people who were admiring the cars that belong to the lucky few.

Yep, almost every day. My wife thinks I am nuts. She also thinks that I love the car more than her.....

I worked on my 308 for 3 hours on Saturday removing, cleaning, and replacing the WUR. Got my hands dirty, dropped a washer and nut (took 20 min to retrieve). I cussed and
moaned because of the tight spaces and what seemed like an overly complicated design.
But when I got done I stepped back and admired the car. I still did not fix my low idle on warm up but I thought "damn, I just worked on a FERRARI". How cool.

I used to have a pic of my cars in my wallet (don't have kids...) but someone didn't return it when it was being passed around at a lunch one day last year - must replace it!
