F355 Dyno

The dyno guy emailed me some data. The car was dynoed last year before the Helm's gold kit and Goth's exhaust. The other data is the difference from this years baseline and the dyno after the tuning of the computers. It was done on a SuperFlow WinDyn which is a resistance roller type of dyno. He did not have fans to blow air into the air vents which by other accounts show a 12-15rwhp gain with the GruppeM intake. The dyno operator thought more 15-20rwhp because the heads are ported. This dyno has a correction factor of 10% to get equivalent DynoJet numbers. I am going to get it dynoed again later this summer when he has the turbo fans to blow into the intakes.

So it looks like a gain of about 40rwhp overall vs last year. He thinks the exhaust is responsible for about 25 rwhp gain. The rest is the tuning of the fuel and timing.

If we accept the 10% Dynojet factor---max HP is 330rwhp. If we add the GruppeM benefit we would get around 340-345rwhp. Dyno comparison is always hard since there is so many variables between them so take the numbers as you will. I can tell you, I have driven several 95 F355 and they do not have the response that this car does.

Piggbacked the computers. I wasn't there when the dyno was run but no overheating even without fans.
