    Guys,

We are running a FerrariChat special on Gold F430 Scuderia Style wheel kits for the month of July.

Normal list on the set is $3789.69 and you must use titanium lug bolts which are an additional $1655.94.

We are offering the set of wheels with the titanium lug bolts and adding the special socket and ground shipping within the Continental US for $4600.00. If they need to be shipped somewhere else, I will work out favorable shipping.

They fit all F430s except Scuderia and 16M. These look great on the cars and are 11% lighter then the standard F430 wheels.

If you are interested, PM me, email at [email protected] or call 800-522-2345.

    Thanks
    Ken

Great deal. Plus they look great. Wonder if those lug nuts would fit my 575M?

Nice wheels and a nice price too but $1655 for 20 bolts seems just plain daft to me!

    Terry,

The standard lug bolts on a F430 which these replace are the same part number as on your 575M (181291)

Is there a noticeable difference in driving with the Titanium lug nuts? How much weight savings is there? Excuse me for asking these silly questions.

I also love the rims except they are GOLD. Not much for it.

I challenge most anyone to tell me if they can feel a difference driving with titanium bolts vs regular. It is all about weight savings, and the knowledge you have some trick bolts on your ride. Nothing wrong with that if it's your thing.

Similar to CF parts; Just something cool to look at and talk about.

No you will not notice the difference in the Ti lug nuts. The weight isn't enough of a difference to really be able to tell. Also with the lugs the weight is all in the center of the hub and not on the outer barrels of the wheels. Money for Ti lugs is better spent getting a better set of tires or a lighter set of wheels. This will make more of a difference that you can feel.

For those of you who want numbers, the Titanium bolts weigh 2.3 oz ea versus 4.5 oz for the standard bolts so they are almost half the weight.

As far as looks, I think they look 4 times as cool as the chromed bolts.

    Weight savings -50%

    Looks + 400%

Officially these wheels are only for F430s

However, I regularly see 360s here wearing F430 wheels with no problems.

Yeah, I'll go along with you on above - they are ever so slightly lighter (44 ounces all in) and they do indeed look very cool.

I cannot accept however that the 44 ounces is worth the $1655 premium. There's definitely a market out there for someone to manufacture look-a-like replacements in steel or perhaps an anodised alloy finish. I'm sure there would be plenty of punters at $500 a set for a look-a-like set without the weight saving?

Hey thats only $37.61 per oz. Quite a bargain compared to Gold.

Ferrari says you must use the Titanium bolts with most all of their sport wheels so I suspect there is more of a reason than just the weight savings such as strength or fatigue resistance.

David- You are correct. There goes my image, slight as it is.

They will fit, but I do not have that much money to invest. Especially not with the boat anchor NF2s on my car.

It's all about what you choose to spend your money on. Some will, some won't spend this much on lug bolts.

I should have added to my original post Ferrari of Atlanta's deal on these wheels and lugs is a great deal. For those looking to get these wheels on their car I think it is a deal hard to pass on. My original post was only about can you feel the difference in the Ti bolts vs. the standard bolts.

Seth- Only if you have the most sensitive rear end in North America. Sort of like my ceramic brakes. They definitely stop better, but the unsprung weight difference is a bit below my sensitivity threshold on a 3800 lb car.

Why won't these fit on the SCUD?

The dimensions of the wheel are a little different than the real Scud wheels so these interfere with the larger brakes of the Scud.

The CCB's are MUCH larger on a SCUD than a 430, in fact they are almost the entire diameter of the inner rim on the fronts
