Crazy request or idea

Had to postpone the F40 drive due to some family stuff that came up. Owner said no problem just let him know when I can make it. A blessing in disguise really really because I will have time to do it 'right'.

 

Well FINALLY after getting settled into my new town and career it looks like I'll be taking 'the ride of a lifetime' on Nov 20th. We will be meeting for lunch and then a cruise before I top off the day with the Roger Waters concert!! I'm buying a new digital camera so I will have pics and video to share.

Next rung on the ladder will be hunting for a ride in a 288GTO!!!!!

 

A 'highjack' story I could listen to over and over and thanks I have waited 20yr's for this to happen, patience is a ***** lol!!!

 

Good call Jay and I will do that but you will need to pm me your number again ok? Hope your well brother and wish I could have utilized your skills but it was a crazy time, I appreciate your friendship.

Only three more days woo hoo!!!!

 

I was gonna buy a new digital camera this week but got 'laid off' so that is a no go but I have asked the owner if he can supply one. I thought about your idea yesterday concerning the disposable video camera's so thanks and I will check it out.

 

I don't have a USB port connected to my memory lol and I won't be fumbling with a camera, I'll be making memories that I can share. Too each their own right?

Our schedules did not mesh so perhaps another day.

 

Well as we all know some things are worth waiting for aslong as you are persistant and gracious, blah blah blah yada yada yada right!!!!!

This coming saturday my patience will finally pay off and I will be getting that F40 ride for sure this time. I cannot express how thankful I am that the owner has waited patiently while my new career constantly got in the way but not this time. There will be pics and video also so when you see a slight drool along with a hint of a tear in my eye go easy on me. Another great thing is I will get to share the experience with three new frinds, the owner and two who will be helping me celebrate my b-day.

Yes it is going to be awesome indeed and I know the friends joining me are just as excited as I am. I guess there is an advantage to being born on the 4th of July and I use it baby lol yet in reality it just goes to show that the largest % of owners get just as much enjoyment sharing their cars with others who are just as passionate about Ferrari as they are.

I can't believe it has already been 3yr's since my brother from another mother BigTex let me drive his red 308GTB all afternoon after a C&C meet, my first Fcar driving experience. I enjoyed just as much the day BigTex let me tag along to assist him with getting his blue 308GTB back on the road.

I'll start working on my 288 GTO drive soon for next year. I may have to travel abit for that one but thats ok. I'm working my way down a list in my head but that can deviate. Since I will be moving back to Houston in a few weeks the opportunity for for rides will increase and I have Lil Squid and Andy's 550 Maranello on my short list and we may finally get have that lunch or dinner we have been talking about for so long now, good friends and good times aint nothing better.
