I actually feel the 430 took the 360 design to completion, the 430 to me is the much bettere looking car, it's more complete, it's more aggressive, more purposeful. Someone said above the 360 looks like a beautiful womans body, that's the problem for me, the design is too soft, too feminine the 430 is by far the looker :)

I adore still the modern image and persona of my 430 coupled with those awesome sleek shark lines which says it all without saying anything.
The car is full of fantastic implication and attitude.

I love the 360 looks, but its starting to look dated.
The f430 Spider is the best looking to me

The 360 is more attractive. Lines are better, much more pleasing. The CS is really between both of them but the lines flow on the 360 and I personally do not think it looks dated.

The 360 CS is good and close to being the winner, however, the the 430 has the 360 beat. The exterior on the 360 is good but the interior is were the 360 looses the battle. Very out dated from the seats to the gauges.

Looks like big hair and mullets.

Side by side, I prefer the smoother look of the 360. The F430 has much sharper lines by comparison. Historically, it seems that some of the most beautiful designs are those with smooth flowing lines. Think 250 California Spyder, 330 P3, 275 GTB/4, etc. All have standed the test of time and remain beautiful cars. What do they have in common? Smooth flowing lines. No sharp, dramatic edges. I believe that smoother designs are more easing on the eyes.

Having said that, no doubt the F430 is an excellent looking car. As far as the looks go, I see it as a sharpened, updated, more aggressive looking 360.

I have to say the 360 hands down and on so many levels. For me the most beautiful Ferrari made is the 355 - the lines are amazing and it flows in a way no other Ferrari does.
I had the choice when getting into the F club and it was either the 360 or 430, as much as I love the 355's looks it was simply too "Go-Kart" inside and felt very dated.
The 360 was the natural choice for me as its the last of the real "drivers" Ferrari's in my eyes as the 430 got loaded with all the gadgetry and computer assisted aids that for me, takes away the purity of a Ferrari.
There are so many settings and assists that even the very worst driver can look and feel like Mr Schumacher but its not his ability its the car, its a modern day KITT.
I wanted to be the one that made the decisions and got it right or wrong, not the computer. Also as mentioned above, the 360 is a much better sounding Ferrari, the 430 sounds muted by comparison.
There are some points of the 430 that appealed, like the start button and the angular nature of the front headlights but thats about it and as you say, slip some nice CF into the 360 and a modern tach and she's 2011.
The 430 interior has always appeared to me to be very second rate, the 599 has a nice interior and isn't that dissimilar to the 430 but for me for some reason the 599 works and the 430 doesn't.
It was also a hugely telling factor that all my youth I would literally break my neck to get a look of any Ferrari but ever since 2004 and the 430 my neck has stayed twist free as the 430 externally leaves me cold and lacks passion IMHO. My $0.02.

So yes in short the 360, in spider form with Challenge Wheels for me (biased I know) but you have to always have a soft spot for its baby brother the 355.

I agree. The lines on the 360 are better but the interior pales in comparison. There is no comparison. The 430 interior is far superior. It was a big reason I went with the 430.

Neither. The CS is best of all!

Actually here are things I love about the 430 and things that just don't look right.

In no particular order, I don't like the longer 430 nose, but love the side vents just in front of the front wheels. I don't like the 430 mirrors at all, but like the stock 430 wheel (challenge wheel of course is the best!). I love the lower engine intake and its sharp angle. Don't like the 430 dash - as it looks like a pancake sitting on top of the instrument cluster. rear view lights - I won't even go there.

    Looks, F430>360cs>360 hands down.

The f430 looks much better and is still modern. The 360 is showing major age in the head lights, rear tail lights, side mirrors and those tiny exhaust tips. The engine compartment is nicer as well.

I prefer the 430 front end while the 360 rear end looks nicer (especially with the challenge grill). Standard 360 wheels do look dated but I agree with many that the CS is the best looking of them all.

360 has smoother lines and looks slick. The star fish wheels are the only think that make the car look dated. Stick on some 19's and it looks as relevant today as the 430. Both are beautiful.

Lovin' the way she lites up the front discs in the low light - very F1esque.

Loving the 360 models on page one too!

I'd pick the Scud front over the 360 front. But 430 to 360, I will always think the 360, tip to stern, is the beauty queen. I also really appreciated that I could virtually hide a receeding license plate under the nose and cannot on the 430.

You guys are both right on about the wheels. Good to keep them for resale. But the body was an instant classic and will never look dated in a bad way. Some 430 wheels or CS wheels and the 360 looks plenty current.

I can't really say that I appreciate what some of the guys are saying about the upgraded 430 interior. I liked the 360 interior. The only thing I like more about the 430 interior is that the distance from seat to window sill is a little lower and I can comfortably hang my left elbow, and I couldn't in the 360. One little, subjective difference that matters hugely to me.

Funny when someone says hands down because these are all opinions. Hands down the Ferraris are better looking than the Pontiac Aztek :) But FWIW, IMHO: 430 Scud>360 CS>430>360. The 360 just looks too soft to my eyes. Thats just me. Its not like its a bad looking car. Its a great looking car. Enjoy them!

430 looks slightly better than 360 in every respect, but the engine definitely sounds better IMO. The 458 started going downhill IMO. I only like the 458 better than the 430 from the side, and mostly due to the wheels/brakes. Only part I like better on the 458 interior is the steering wheel (with full controls). The seats don't look as nice, but are more comfortable IMO, so they win too. The dash is just hideous IMO. And the lack of manual would never make me lust after one anyway :D.
