They are Ronal wheels but I don't know if Ronal is in business here in the U.S. anymore, maybe Europe? I got them at Ronal in Huntington Beach California...you might check anyway.
They're Ronal LZ-VT wheels. I think Ronal USA closed shop. So unless you find a place that has NOS, or buy them used from someone, they might be difficult to come by for a 348.
70k+ miles Fix it myself Drives like a go-kart Looks like a Ferrari Two for the price of what some call an "upgrade" Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here's a shot from a show I was at a few months ago. I thought the angle was pretty cool and really showed off the rear wheels and new P-Zeros. The tail lights look pretty cool as well. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've owned my baby for 9 years, and it has been nothing but joy. It always puts the biggest smile on my face when I drive it. It is not the fastest, may not get the most looks, but it is an amazing vehicle. It has provided me with over 24K worry free miles. I almost sold her last year and am so happy that I decided to keep her. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
9 years of ownership is fantastic! Car looks great too, thanks for sharing pics. I wish you another 9 yrs of happy ownership!
Great Pictures guys. Keep them coming. Love the challenge wheels on the 348. Never seen those on one.
I just love the look of the CS wheels on the 348. I am rather fickle when it comes to wheels and I keep thinking about 512TR wheels. However, these days, I think if I was going to change from the 348 stock wheels, these would definitely be the ones I'd go for. ^ Note: to be applied to the future when I actually have a 348 to change the wheels of. All the best, Andrew.
It's what drives me crazy about the 348, time and time again the car is bagged, but every contemporary test I have ever read is always complimentary.....like this one http://www.lotusespritworld.com/ERoadtests/SEv911v348vNSX_Car90.html I do love this pic (my car), hence my avatar Image Unavailable, Please Login
I had the pleasure of being driven in a 997 TT 6spd 500hp awd yesterday by a friend & impressive it was for sure.I hopped out of the Porsche & got directly into a 2008 Dodge Viper 600 hp V10.totally different cars. The one thing I was sure of when I got out of each i that I liked my car the most. The Porsche is too sedate & the Viper is too hotrod-ish .My car was modded by the original owner significantly so maybe Im spoiled,I dont know. That being said you can keep the porsche, keep the vipers & vettes of this world.I Love my 348.Its so underrated it makes me sick. All the nay sayers can TRY to follow me down a winding interstate & they too will believe. Its a blast to the end.My friend Joe owns the Viper & after yesterday I called him up for his long overdue drive in the 348 which he calls a Fiat lovingly Im sure as does Tom who owns the 997 TT to which I refer to as a Beetle. So I pick him up & after a brief period of time he knew he was NOT IN A DODGE ) We blasted onto the highway achieving a friendly cruizn speed of 100+ weaving through traffic effortlessly on a road that I had 4 lanes to pick through.I didnt go over 120-130,like why bother the way i moved through lanes was mesmorizing to him.Now Ill tell you that he & Tom have watched me spend many tens of thousands fixing it & the extreme grief that goes with it while they are busting my balls all the time BUT after that drive with me he acknowledged why I keep it going.5yrs 30k of drivin & still kickin. Its brilliant.Go 348!!!!Come get some!!!
