More Magnum Trivia

I've got every season except the last and have seen them all many times. I prefer the first 2 season's over the later ones but enjoy them all. I know after seeing a couple of minutes of an episode if there are any car chases and how often the car is shown in that episode.

 

Back in the day, I never missed an episode. I was also an amateur 308 professional. I was expecting to see a 328 in the fall of 87 and was actually relieved to see the stuck with the 308. I was sure to see one in 88, but again, it was still the QV.

 

Now that you mention it it is weird that they updated the car all throughout the series the average viewer probably wouldn't of noticed the diffrence between a carb car and a f.i. car. They could of just run the carb car for three or four seasons and gone right to a qv and skipped over a 2v car most people wouldn't of noticed. I'm thinking that they never went to a 328 because they thought the series was ending as the episode where he got shot in the warehouse was supposed to be the series finale but then they ended up going another season.

 

Me Too! My favorites have always been the first two or three seasons by far.

 

Actually, they used a 328 as well as a 308 in that movie...watch the driving scenes.

 

I know I drive my girlfriend crazy everytime I watch the opening scene when it changes from 308 to 328 I sit there and go 308 328 308 328 as they change the model in the shots and she gives me the look.

 

I'm going to have to watch it again (and again...).

 

First two seasons and last two seasons. They really closed out the show well, never really jumped the shark.
