Is this a new problem that occurred suddenly (i.e., it was OK, but the behavior has now suddenly changed), or has it always been this way (since someone last fondled its adjustments)?

What version -- US engine F113A040, late euro engine F113B?

Are you saying that the idle "droops" below 1000 RPM during decellerating to a stop (and usually stalls), but, if you keep it running, the idle recovers to 1000 RPM?

Don't you mean 1000rpm? Idle should be at 1000+-100 at idle.

    Raise the idle speed.

yes i meant 1000 and it idles at 1000 ok unless coming to stop or for example pushing in clutch rpms drop low enough to shut off

Have you checked idle with an external tach?

Something just doesn't seem right! Disengaging the clutch at idle should theoretically increase rpm or at least keep it at the same level when the engine is at operating temp.

And I hope that you got a heck of a $ discount ;)

Two fairly easy things that I'd start with for that symptom are:

    1. Confirm that there is +12V power present to run the "E" part of the KE-Jet system:

If there isn't, and someone has tweaked it up to run quasi-OKish (as a K-Jet), you'll have to retweak (after fixing the missing +12V power issue).

    2. Check the operation of the throttle microswitch per this diagram:
    Image Unavailable, Please Login

This throttle microswitch "tells" the injection ECU to not let things get too lean during closed-throttle decelleration (as the Lambda system will undershoot if it just uses the O2 sensor signals).

Most likely, the whole thing is just improperly tweaked up, but you might get lucky... good hunting...
