Gentlemen, I'm looking to pick up a Carpristo Exhaust for the 355 this week and am sorta stuck when it comes to which sound level to chose. How much of a difference is there really between the sound 2 and sound 3? I've heard some clips online but I cant tell the difference to be honest. I would like the closest thing to an f1 at higher revs but not much louder than stock when the bypass valve is closed (for driving around town). I'm leaning towards Sound 3 but just because I've been told its more aggressive...and loud at higher revs.

Also anyone know of an authorized Capristo dealer in Canada?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

While waiting for the experts, I was under the impression that the levels are for the noise level during low rpm driving, and that they all sound the same at high rpm...

If I was paying $X,XXX for an exhaust on my Ferrari I'd want it to sound as (tastefully) loud as possible. Get the 3 and don't look back.

As a counterpoint I can tell you that I personally find the Level 3 obnoxious. The Level 2 is barely tolerable from the standpoint of following one for a distance. Regardless, it's up to you. You really need to sample both from inside and outside the car to get a full appreciation of their qualities.

I have a level 1 and it is pretty f-n loud at full chat. It's very tolerable at low throttle. Perfect to me.

How about goin up a few notch's in the obnoxious category. Just a note for 355 owners...what do you think of 2400lbs(fully loaded excp. driver) and 450+hp(normally aspirated)....if u think a "B" model interior noise is awesome just wait til u experience this in a Spider.

I've got a stage 1 on my F355 spider and it's more than enough for me especially that I sometimes use my car as a daily driver. Actually after a full day's driving your ears are ringing.

The brand is Hyperflow Yassa. Call up Ricambi and slap those pups in at the same time as the exhaust.

AND THEN, hit that tunnel heading into Montreal's core!
