They can take some time to fix the roads after earthquakes/heavy rain/slides especially around the original Targa Florio in the mountains but they do get fixed.

    Best!

I had no trouble parking in Sicilia, once I learned to try to think like an Italian. When they want to leave they find you in the cafe and you move your car.

Thanks, I just remember hearing about how some dealers, a few years back, wouldn't work on Euro cars before they never got the first bite of the apple.

Ha! Try that in the Lantern District. Great pic.

They have no problem with Euro cars. Heck, the owner of the dealership has several Euro cars himself!

Not to mention that the cars we're talking about here are US not euro. They have full US warranties.

I understand. But there was a time where FNA would not let dealers do warranty work on Euro cars; thus, my question.

Warranty work is a completely different story. US and European cars have different warranties. Indeed, when I picked up my car in Europe, there was some question about whether my US warranty would be honored in Europe. As I recall, the official documents said it would not be, but the guys at the factory said they would take care of me if necessary.

Typically, a Euro warranty won't be honored in the US. However, that doesn't mean the dealer won't work on the car, just that you have to pay for it out of your own pocket.

In the case of European delivery, the car is a US car with a US warranty, as Jim pointed out.

No troubles driving in northern Italy - in fact, I think it's easier to drive there than it is in the US! Forza Autogrill. Three letters to watch out for:
