dont mean to be picky but how can he own an F430 in 2001? They didn't go into production until 2006? No?

You're absolutely right. My bad. In fact his car is a 2001 360 Spider. It's my other friend who owns the F430. My second friend who owns the F430 is going to do the same with a 'vinyl' plate. I told him about the 360 Spider because he brought up the question to me about what he could do about affixing a front plate without distracting from the front end. I hope I cleared everything up? Sorry about the confusing information.

I'm on the search for a local Ferrari mechanic. For obvious reasons, I'm trying to avoid the monster on Burrard and 3rd. As well as the fella in North Vancouver. Is there any other place to go? If there is, let me know please. Thanks.

The fella in N. Van I assume you're referring to is Joseph? May I ask what's wrong with him? He is a good friend of mine and top notch mechanic. I wouldn't take the car anywhere else

I've heard there is somone in Langley but I have no other information. I think he has been mentioned on this thread previously so you might find his name with a search. How about Milo's on Kingsway? I have not personally used Milo's but know a few people with vintage Maserati's that use him.

The last thing I want to do is mention anyone by name. I respect what many have accomplished with their skills as a Ferrari tech. But what I don't appreciate is when i get disrespected. Enough about that, thanks to everyone so far on possible technicians locally. Keep em coming.

The Langley place is: "Langley Auto Clinic" #106-5763 198 St. I've never used them, though... From what I heard, they specialised in more modern, fuel-injected Ferraris.

    Also...

Westport Motorcars on Marine Dr. in Vancouver has a service centre now that caters to Lambo/Ferrari (as well as other Euro brands).

Milo did the BC Safety inspection on my 348 - he knows his Ferrari's, and use to have his mint Fiat Dino(with the stock factory Ferrari engine) in his showroom. If Joseph and FMOV don't work for you, I'd be comfortable with Milo. I recall there's also an Italian mechanic down near False Creek somewhere, along with the Langley reference. maybe PM "Peter" (his username here), he'd know. We had a thread along this line a year or two ago if your search skills are better than mine.
