Many of you saw the Forza article about the 328 rental car driven around New York City. I thought that was an interesting stunt, but that won't happen in the "real world".

So my wife and daughters made our first ever trip to New York City this weekend, just got home last night. We went to see the Lion King Saturday night. Times Square was absolute chaos- people everywhere, traffic lurching along just inches at a time. While waiting for the theatre doors to open, we stood on the mezzanine level, transfixed by the view to Times Square below (second photo). Then looking out the window to our right, we spotted a 308 in that sea of taxi cabs (first photo)...shows what I know.

That isn't me, but I've had my 308 in NY many, many times as have my friends & their Ferrari. Buzzing time square use to be one of our favorite drives while passing through the area. Driving in NY is tough, what with the traffic, taxis, pot holes & raised manhole covers, coblestones etc. But it happens all the time.
Check out SuperSpeeders DVD (#1 or #2) where a slew of Ferrari took over Times Square.
There's also pics on FChat, though many were lost with the great server crash of 2005?

I'm pretty sure that was from the "Time Square" event we had

We lived in NY for 15 years, leaving in '06 and spent a lot of time driving in the city. I didn't own one at the time but saw Ferraris there quite regularly so it's not really unusual. Even see new ones running around here in Mexico city- and the traffic here makes NYC look like it has no traffic!

I've driven through Times Square...but it was in an '86 Dodge convertible. Funny thing is that the traffic wasn't that bad (even at 3:30pm on a weekday -- I think either Thursday or Friday.) I had worse traffic leaving D.C. earlier in the day.
