This is early on during the restoration before the 1st owner sold the car to the current owner through Bobileff Motorcar who wanted to have the front-end have the SV look.

These photo's are meant to show you the type of in-depth process we do in house. So.... we were attempting to get the car into stock condition!!

For all the purists satisfaction! :)

I also prefer them to the look of an SV. Don't know why most people prefer the SV. For the upgraded tech specs, yes absolutely. But on looks? No.

    Like I said :

most people tend to think , more expensive $$$ = better or nicer

Definately large SV tail lights look generic to my eyes whereas all red small lights look so Miuraesque , Not to mention eyelashes which is my favorite feature on the car

Then again I wasn't even born when all this evolution took place

Glad I'm not the only who thinks so :D

The P400 & P400S taillights were generically used too, as with most Italian car lights & lenses. Here you can see them as used on all De Tomaso Mangustas.

It's funny you say this. Just the other day I happened upon a Fiat forum like this one. They were all complaining and bemoaning that all of those "rich" Miura owners have driven up the price of tail lights and other bits through the roof and ruined a good thing going for the Fiat owners.

I kind of sympathise with them, because those Fiats are not worth much restored, so the parts do tend to go to the higher valued cars over time. It bothers me more, though, that it's become VERY difficult to buy cheap used Fiat parts that also fit Miura's.
