There is a discount on parts and service at Ferrari of Alberta if you are a FCA member. See www.fca-alberta.com

I have been taking my cars to the Distinctive Collection. They now have all the computers and service manuals for Ferrari and Lamborghini. So far, they have been excellent. Good availability or sourcing of parts and decent pricing.

Funny, in the service area they have more Ferraris and Lambos than Astons and Bentleys...LOL..

I've always thought of Marc as a Porsche specialist.

Try Distinctive Collection in the Auto Mall. They have a very good specialized Ferrari technician, a source for parts and all the necessary tools to service.

I have a 2001 456mgt with 6 speed in need of a major service. Is distinctive still the place to go or is there a better option now? I'm looking for a professional that doesn't rely solely on a computer read out... and is comfortable with the older stuff.

Also, this one is a bit of a wildcard...... but you can take the car to Canyon Creek Toyota and speak with https://www.canyoncreektoyota.com/dealership/staff.htm# Brent Carefoot. He is the Service Manager. However, he use to be the service manager at Ferrari of Alberta and is apparently a very good Ferrari mechanic.

Not sure if he would take your F-car in for service at Canyon Creek or not. Might be worth a shout.

Thanks for that. I've actually had alot of work done at elegant motors and he is a great diagnostician. For the major service I was hoping to try someone closer and with access to the computer reader, the name of which has escaped me.

I'll call those recommendations and get a feel and go from there.
    Thanks again.

I realise this is an old post but I'm curious who you recommended? I've got a similar generation f car and im interested in your service recommendation.

FYI - the fellow who has the 456 at Ferrari of Alberta is their Parts Manager. He does most of the work on his car, so he would be a good contact to know.

Das auto in Red Deer did the major on my f355. Not only was it a bargain, they also cleaned, and detailed every corner of the engine bay and repolished my tubi exhaust for no charge. Super meticulous, everything was recorded in timelapse for me to review later and save for my records, they know 348/355 and 360s inside and out. Feel free to DM me for their contact info.

Any rough guesstimate on cost for a major? I will probably need an engine out major service on my 348 Spider this winter.
