The only solution I found that is workable for me is the 3M double side tape from HOME DEPOT.

    Good Luck

You can get a plate mount the screws into the tow hook mount located inside the L/H radiator grill.

Added benefit? Easily removed for shows/etc. Doesn't disrupt the airflow under the car or into the radiator.

I've seen a version sold online, but I fabricated mine.

Sorry for the crappy pic. It's the one I submitted to the court to "prove" I had a front plate installed.

I ordered one of these for my F430. It turned out that the diameter of the shaft of the pull hook is 16mm, while this supplier uses a 19mm threaded rod. Everything would have been OK if the hole in the grill mesh was perfectly co-linear with the thread hole in the frame. Mine were not (great Ferrari attention to detail) and the larger diameter rod would not prpoperly engage the threaded hole due to interference with the grill. In the process of sorting this out, the initial thread on the shaft became slightly rolled. Thesupplier would not send me a replacement rod, nor a smaller dia rod, nor refund my purchase.

I hope your grill and frame are built to spec!

just out of curiosity, why are you doing that?

In the 15 years I've gone without a front plate, i have only received 2 tickets. I think it was $150 or so. Not too bad actually.

Is the fine much steeper where you are?

Ran across these the other day. Haven't ever tried them out nor do I have any affiliation with the vendor but they looked interesting.

I've been wondering the same thing myself. The only reason Ontario insists upon a front plate (as far as I'm aware) is because it gives the police a good target for their radar. I'd prefer to get a ticket for no front plate rather than a speeding ticket and demerits.

The 360's easy to deal with. There's a retractable plate out there that I had. I can't find the email anymore, but if you ask Franklyn Freeman at Ferrari of Washington, [email protected], he'll still have it. Tucked right under the front. 430 is much more of a problem. I really, really hate the thought. I've done nothng about getting one mounted yet.

I went to trouble of sending photos, and the necessary information to fix the design. He told me that he had sold "over 500 units" and this only occurred on one other car. He also tried to tell me that his "shop" wanted to charge him $150 to turn a shaft to the required dimension. I was quite polite through 3 months of e-mails and two phone calls. To call this guy ****** gives all dicks (and Richards for that matter) a bad name. This guy has no clue how to deal with customers!

I took delivery of my 360 in April and struggled with how to get the front plate on without drilling. After looking at the many posts on this and different links to products. I ended up using 3M double sided tape from Home Depot. My personalized plate hadn't arrived yet so I have now done it twice on the car. I had no issues when I removed the first plate carefully keeping in mind I also have a clear bra. I did bend the plate slightly to the contour of the car to get as much of the surface touching. Also doubled up the tape at the outsides. So far so good and I have enjoyed over 2000 miles on her. Good luck !

Great service and no problems with the kit from moweraxle.com, have used his kits on 5 different cars. Rod and plate holder work perfectly.
