    Pretty -

but that god aweful steering wheel, and the headrests with the cavalino gotta go.

the gold bbs i saw on a blue 308 once with creme interior, and it was such a beautiful car -

the red and these bbs wheels dont work for me i dont think.

but pretty car, strong money they want for it ;)

anyone know the "blue" oil filter ?

Yeah...the steering wheel is way nasty and, yes, the blue oil filter...

They ain't gonna get 38K for this, especially in this economy.

I kinda like the BBS wheels...and I kinda don't. LOL!

Were the cavallino headrests not appropriate on 308s??

Those BBS wheels were fashionable --- in 1982 on every BMW. They haven't aged well. The originals --- CLASSY and CLASSIC!

that car is really clean,,,im into the steering wheel....red interior is my favorite next to tan...motor looks really clean...35k miles very low...37,500...im not sure..i was thinking that might be 328 money...although it seems like good 308 s are in same price range as 328 s in the same shape,,,,i dont like the wheels,,,but they dont look bad,,,i prefer the stock 16 s,,maybe if the centers were not gold...they would look better...it would be intersting to see how it bids up...

I haven't bought a 308 yet, so I'm going to prove that car isn't worth that much money by not buying that one:)

A Ferrari shouldn't say 'Ferrari' anywhere the car didn't from the factory. It just looks gaudy if it does...The wheels gotta go too.

For that price s/he is dreaming. Offer $30k max imho and that high a price only because it has a fresh service. Seriously, $30k max.

FYI: This is at least their third re-list on eBay at the same price.

It's actually a very nice steering wheel, but not really appropriate for a 308. I had that wheel on my first 928. My QV has the cavallino in the headrests, didn't the carb cars too? Or is that an enhancement? In any case, the interior is nice and it looks like a very clean car. Taillights are swapped so look for evidence of a respray, but it could be a very good car with a few issues corrected. Strong money is right, I hope they get it...but probably not.

+1 on all counts. I'm no fan of BBS on 308s either.

The add says original paint but I see evidence of a repaint. And it just doesn't look like a factory paint job either.

Something is wrong with the carpet as well. Look at the driver's side, it doesnt fit properly. Overall, too many personalized touches for me.
