    I don´t think it has any thread on the housing.
    You just pull it off...

    I lost the cap to that breather it just came off but I believe that the part you are referencing is a permanent fixture. I don't think you can remove it. I have my bell housing off now and just looked at it.

    ...and a very good question. "Why?". Is it bent?

    on my 512 tr its just a tight push fit, had to replace mine a few years ago.........

    I am changing the clutch at the moment and as this part is looking a bit grubby I thought that I would replace it or re-plate it but can't see how to get it off.

    So its a pair of grip tomorrow then :)
