Personally I think it's inappropriate to have your Dino judged using borrowed items from others. If you're going to have your Dino judged, it should be based on what you have, not what you can beg, borrow or rent for the occasion.

    You forgot "steal."

Anyway, it happens, more often than you'd care to admit, although not in the grand classes at PB, perhaps. And, it happens at Jag and Porsche events, too.

    Happens there too!

I will have 60k + of items on the lawn this year, last year was more.

    No charge!

These incredibly rare items that are not for sale, and are lent to my good clients.
Each one is a friend. These entrants are trying to do the best job possible, I am only to glad to assist.

It's a misrepresentation of what you're showing. If your car wins and somebody else provided key items that contributed to the win, you shouldn't own the prize you take home, whatever that is. Remember, the car might win, but you own the prize. Otherwise, it's just a matter of who you know and what they're willing to lend out. Kinda sounds like politicians using their position of power/influence to help their friends at the expense of others. Just my opinion.

On the other hand, if your car is not being judged, I applaud the notion of wanting to show the most complete and accurate example of what the more perfect Dino could be. But I think it's safe to say that only those people whose car is being judged try to borrow items they don't have and think will benefit their judging score.

I think Shaughnessy has a lease to own program as well.

Oh no! Only opened-end leases at Shaughnessy Motors

I get all items back at the end of the lease!

As my friend Patrick Ottis reminds me " This is a business " :)
