    you're both right, and that was a lot more difficult then i had first thought....i sent in a couple for fun, but getting one to be a correct limerick, was another task all together LOL

    much fun, and i learned something too (which is quite something in itself)

    Well, the Rossa contest is only open to Silver members... so if you're not Silver you won't see it. I'll
    do it around Christmas time (unless something changes and I don't do it this year!)...
    and it likely WON'T be limericks - this was a DUD of an idea.

    But it's no fun. I like seeing people like Garnet who we normally don't see posting in Silver, it's different and not the usual crowd in Silver.

    By me? Just the Christmas deal in December 2010. I don't know about others'.

    I most likely will do the Christmas contest again... but might do another Silver upgrade
    in the "non subscribed" world instead or in addition to. The Christmas thing was HUGE!
    Had a zillion applicants from Silver. The OOT effort of this thread was ... lackluster.
    Had garnet not appeared with his tenacious onslaught of PM's to me, the thread would
    have died with no winner.

    :( hopefully wasn't by default? i couldn't help the effort, only a couple of limericks, but once you replied, i was determined to learn how to make at least one into an actual limerick, out of the nonsense i first tried to write LOL :)

    Oh, NO... not at ALL! I had quite a few submissions... the vast majority were not
    up to the challenge or the submitter didn't follow the "rules" I had posted.

    You were FUN!! I got a kick out of our round of PM's... just the sort I'd like to
    see posting in Silver :)

    hey Jedi, here's a possible idea

    we had as a company christmas contest (when with a previous employer) a paid family trip, as part of christmas activities
    basically was an online scavanger hunt....a fairly long list of items; questions & images to be collected....at company christmas supper it was revealed who had returned the first accurate submission, and thus won the prize

    perhaps something like this, for subscription prize, using all hard to find Ferrari info/pics, to be gathered & submitted?
