Agreed the number of belts is ridiculous, I've seen guys enter the ring I've never heard of and they have two or three belts. It's only about money and has nothing to do with the guy's skills. Real fight fans don't pay any attention, the only belt that really matters is The RING Mag belt which is driven by linearity with no politics involved.

One thing I admire about Mayweather, he poo hoo's all of them, and can still command $20 mil a fight. Still looking forward to Ortiz to give him some anxious moments, if he can handle the spotlight. Saw he and Mayeweather on "Face Off" with Max Kellerman, he didn't impress me.

I didn't see the link because you have to have a Face Book account? No way that's happenin.

I remember when they just had the WBC & WBA. When they introduced the IBF I Said: WTF??? Oh yeah, they had the USBA & NABF which usually the #1 & #2 contenders usually carried.

Whoa. Did you see it? The worst officiated bout in the history of boxing. Agbeko vs. Mares. Russell Mora should be banned for life. He had to be on Golden Boy's payroll, they should be investigated too.

Agbeko is protesting, I have a good feeling he'll get it too. This fight was so good besides all the low blows. I feel Mares was winning the fights but the officials saw it closer than I did. I'd love to see a rematch.

**** like this is why I don't really watch until my friends tell me to see the replay. I'd be pissed if I sat down to watch this stuff live.

I was livid watching it. Have to be impressed with Agbeko, he handled it like a gentleman. Somehow a re-match is not good enough for such corruptive officiating. I think it should be ruled a no contest with Agbeko keeping his belt.

Mayweather Ortiz is getting close, and I'm getting excited. Surprised to see so many on the forums not giving Ortiz a chance at all, and picking Floyd in a shutout. I think this is a mistake. While I don't expect him to win, I think he has a good chance of hurting Floyd which will have to be good enough. Either fighter could go down or be stopped, but it's more likely it will be Ortiz. He needs more seasoning, and just may freeze up come fight night.

I could see 8-4 in rounds, Floyd by majority decision.

I hope i'm wrong, But what makes Ortiz so special and what does he have that all other 41 opponents didn't have???? I can't stand FM, BUT... His level is just beyond anyone elses in boxing. IMO. Boy I hope i'm wrong!!!

I agree, on a skill level he's not even close to Floyd. I don't think it's what Ortiz has that's something special. There isn't anything. Just youth, size, strength, and being a southpaw doesn't hurt. Just hoping Floyd has lost a step, and Ortiz gives him a hella'va fight. Floyd says he's going to stand in front of Ortiz. That's gotta be fireworks!

I think FM will clown around the ring. Prettyboy Floyd is not going to let his pretty little face get hit too much, so don't expect him to stand still. I might watch this one live.

Not really true. Allot of people think Floyd is a runner, but the guy will stand his ground and walk you backwards. He was a predator against Mosley. If he does go backwards it's only to let the opponent walk into counters.

I had a dream that Floyd is on the ropes and Ortiz is teeing off on him. In true Mayweather fashion, he is pulling back missing punches by a few inches, but suddenly a right hook comes crashing over, catches him flush on the jaw and he crumples to the canvas.....I said it was a dream. :)

Yeah, well that was Mosley. He has a crushing powerpunch when it lands, but he seems to like and outlast his opponents, more than go for a TKO. I seem to remember mostly Hatton charging and FM evading. Well, until Ricky messed up and stepped in to a hook.

My thoughts exactly, on principle alone, I hate watching these trumped up fights that fail to deliver. With sports though, I can't watch replays, that just doesn't work for me.

I understand the rage against PPV. It's been a big rip off, not only for the main event fights, but also because of the lousy under cards. Even the up coming Hopkins vs. Dawson is PPV, two unexciting fighters. Hard to know if Mayweather Ortiz is worth it. Could be very exciting, could be a dud. All I know is I just have to buy it.
