I also considered this car. I bought mine From Algar Ferrari. Yes 6 speed manuel gear box I am considering of adding on the HGTE suspension kit. Thicker front and rear sway bars Shocks and springs. I asked almost every ferrari dealer If I can add gto exhaust? I know the hgte will fit no problem. I will also be able to keep my power warranty with the hgte package. From what I heard ferrari will no longer produce gated manuel cars.
I do not think color will make a big difference in regards of purchasing a 599 with a stick. Its just too rare of a car. I think a buyer will consider the service records cars history. And of course the options that came with the car. My car is very loaded. It has the fire extingusher. Has the carbon fiber door inserts. It has the optional 20 inch rims. Scuderia shield. Has the factory power cube warranty till 2012 of July. It has the 9500 CI Passport radar system. I looked very hard for a 599 GTB with all the options colors and miles. I have 2 books that came with my car. I have 2 keys radio code. I also have carbon fiber trim that runs along the hand brake area. I also have the ceramic brake system. I will be adding the HGTE Handling package to it by next year. Also keep in mind Ferrari is no longer producing manuel cars. I wanted a 2008 or 2009 599 with a stick there are non in the market place. If you find a 599 GTB, buy it. It will take some learning but its worth it. I think only ten 599 GTB with sticks were made. I owned all the Testarossa familys. Now it the big guns for me... John Los Angeles
This looks amazing; you've done a wonderful job. Can you share the serial numbers of your manual F430 and your Challenge Stradale? Interestingly enough, a good portion of the manual 599s in the US are liveried in Grigio Silverstone. Very nice! These are rare! Can you tell us the serial number?
