Can someone please photoshop the picture below so I can get an idea of what the fully exposed carbon fibre outer sill would look like? Haven't seen one yet on a rossa corsa car. Credits to violater for the pic. Thanks!

I have managed to crudely edit a picture. Clearly I am not an expert but I think getting the entire outside sill in unpainted CF would look awesome...

If I were you I would leave it. I think that the full sill takes away from the car and makes it look very choppy and uneven. Something along the lines of the designer sneezing when he was creating it. Doesn't look terrible, just not as nice as it is now.

The CF outer sill looks very nice. My dealer's test drive car has it. I love it but i will have second thoughts as it will have alot of stone chips in a matter of months. I don't know if sticking on a transparent wrap on the CF would help.

I have never seen a pic that makes me say I gotta have the CF sill... BUT, when I saw it in person I ALMOST got that feeling... To me it does look much better in person....

I agree. I've felt that way about the carbon sills on the 430 too. Just don't do it for me.

I love as much carbon as you can get but this doesn't look right.

I've seen the CF sill in person, and I don't like the way it introduces a new and abrupt line to the car. Sometimes less is more.

^^ If that car had CF center caps and yellow calipers it would be the perfect 458 IMO.

I have to agree as well. I've never understood the look. Not a fan.

The white in the previous post does look very appealing but I disagree with the center caps in CF.

I like yellow calipers, center caps and shields.. The three just seem to flow together nicely..

IMO those CF sills are OK but desperately need dark rims and possibly dark roof, too. This is visually weird, whereas the white example in this thread looks stunning in all its dark details.
