It makes an awesome milkshake..... I put a bunch of vanilla ice cream and 2% milk in the blender and mix it up good before dropping the Nutella in the blender while it is running. If you put the Nutella in on top of the ice cream before blending it will harden up and stick to the side of the blender.
In Switzerland, we take a teaspoon of room temperature Nutella, put in the bottle of your Espresso demitasse (cup)... rub a fresh cut lemon on rim and then make your Espresso. Use LAVAZZA arabica beans only! It's more addictive than heroin (not that I know that, but I've been told...)
I haven't found a large 5kg of Nutella in Canada. Costco doesn't seem to carry the size. Where in the USA, more specially Washington state would I find one?
Never seen them in the US.... Only time I ever saw one was at a shop in Luxembourg. Checked out a few grocery and candy type stores elsewhere in Europe and didn't see any. Kinda wish I had bought another but they would probably chop off my feet from Nutella induced diabetes.
My kids introduced me to Nutella and love it. I take a loaf of bread, smear Nutella and add thin slices of banana...
I spent 3 week in Western Europe a few years ago and I basically lived off Nutella. That was the first time I had ever even heard of it, now I'm hooked. Glad to see I'm not the only one who loves it !!
Kinda baked, but kinda wired. Hmmmm - what kinda weed . . . Gave me an idea, though - just topped some Cheesecake with Nutella. 3 words: OMG
Giada has a Nutella topped Brownie recipe that is yummy!! http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/everyday-italian/gianduja-bars-recipe/index.html
My family supplies the hazelnuts to nutella. One of the most healthiest nut to eat. But I still have to buy the three pack at Costco...
My better half made Nutella cookies. Something like a cup of Nutella and an egg. Mix and then bake. They come out really flat. She cooked some longer than others so some were crispy and some were soft. Soft ones are kind of like eating a Nutella tootsie roll.
