Help me identify this Ferrari F50!!!!!

    HOLY MOLY!!! I absolutely LOVE the F50, it's my favorite Ferrari and has been for a very, very long time. My friend called me a few days ago to tell me he saw a yellow F50 in our town. He's no expert so I doubted him initially, and scoured the area he saw it to no avail.

    BUT TODAY I SAW IT!!!!!!!!!! Driving down the Lloyd Expressway in Evansville, IN-- a Giallo Ferrari F50. Bliss. I freaked out. He was driving in the opposite direction so I couldn't follow him and listen to it or catch him in a parking lot and tell him how great I think his car is.

    This is a very small area with very few Ferraris. I know the owners of most and have ridden in a couple. There is only one exotic dealer in town and on a very small scale, Buxton Motorsports. And considering the exclusivity of the F50, particularly a Giallo F50, I was hoping someone here might be able to provide me any information. The driver was a 50+ white guy with what looked like grey hair! It's been in town for a few days, but I've never seen or heard of it before so I'm not sure if he's just visiting or if someone in town just got one.

    Could be 103497, or ex-Lauren 104798. Only three or four yellow F50s in the states - two of which are owned by people who will die before those cars leave those collections.

    Is there a yellow f50 still in CT, and if so, does it get any road use?? I think "Cohen" is the owner.

    A guy I work with (not sure how much faith I can put into his words, but he's been fairly reliable so far) claims his daughter is friends with the guy whose dad's it is..... The son has been driving it mostly around Muncie, IN and has just returned home, he says, and is now keeping it in Newburgh/Evansville, IN. I don't know if that helps anyone identify it, but he is going to ask his daughter what his name is and if it's something he doesn't mind sharing I'll share it with you all!

    Well I think it's a good guess. Isn't there a guy in Indiana with a silver F50?

    Forget his name, tell him to tell his daughter to go over there and get a picture of the VIN. It's on the steering column just behind the steering wheel.

    How about a SUPER VIN ?

    There is one on that car, just need to find it :)

    I wouldn't kid you buddy ;-) I'm referring to the VIN plate thats like 3 times bigger and looks like 36 point font. Its on the car, and easily visible. You're the vin man, does that exist on other models? I have quite a few, and never seen one that like before. It crazy big.

    You saw this and didn't photograph it?!?

    I've seen anomalies in VIN plates - VINs upside down, VINs with an extra letter or number, VINs that look slightly different in font or imprint thickness - but never anything like what you're saying. I can only assume the VIN plate in question is either a fake, or the plate was replaced post-factory.
