The 1/24th Ferrari 250 Breadvan and 599XX Carrera slotcar's are now out for those who like to scratchbuild. They look very good but will require some work and alot of detailing.

Ok, now this might be a dream but rumors are that Hiro have dropped plans to do this Ferrari F10 in 1/12th scale because Tamiya are planning a plastic kit of the F10 in 1/12th scale. Who knows if that is true since it has been a long time since Tamiya did a 1/12th F1 kit.

Great news for the 250 Lusso...
Which kit needed for base to this?
PS. Where I can buy a Airtrax transkit, except e-bay

I think the Fujimi 250GTO is the base, but maybe other Ferrari 250 kits could be used. They did start putting vacuform windows in starting with the 330GTS.

Here is their direct email : [email protected]

These kits are getting really nice. The body shapes and photoetch are very well done. They also catch alot of the smaller details as they are sportscar enthusiasts, not just a model company.

    P.S.

Alfa PANAM 1900 1954 decals in 1/24th scale are almost done, with printing by Cartograf.

Looks like they used Scale Kraft kit as a base.

The ScaleKraft was also based on the Wheels kit. It looks like they did alot of work on it no matter what they started with.

The fact that they are with VDS in the announcement would tend to point to it being a Matech, no?

Besides, Maxime appears to have spent a lot of time with Matech at Le Mans 2010. ;)

Well thats interesting, but I am suprised they picked that car since it was not a factory effort. Good to see just the same!!

I just received the Carrera 1/24th scale 599XX and 250 Breadvan. The 599 body and wheels/tires are very nice(almost perfect). The 250 Breadvan rearend is slightly to round and the windscreen seems a little off. I think I figured out how to correct that and will put the body on a Fujimi 250 GTO chassis. This is the best 250 Breadvan body I have seen in 1/24th scale(the MG model is trash as is the Fiotto and that thing made in Washington state).

Do you test the revell or fujimi chassis to 599XX and 250 Breadvan?

Not made by Fujimi. This is an arrangement because of licensing.

Now this is a suprise, but Studio 27 are doing the Zagato TZ3 Alfa Romeo in a 1/24th scale resin kit curbside kit!! Due out late August/early September 2011.

The Corsa? I hope so - it is a bit better looking than the Stradale IMHO.

Im sure the 458 GTC should be out soon from someone, just give it time. I hope Studio 27 gives it more detail that their previous curbside kits if they do it.
