I am in total agreeance with this. The only Ferraris KobyCrashy should be allowed to race is Ferrari Bicycles.
I basically agree; Phil has had some bad luck and had to fight his way back etc. Koby certainly appears more aggressive - Right before he hits the wall! But, back to back, given the same car, I just don't think he'd be any quicker than Phil - If he were, he'd be at the Alonso level, and I just don't see it - Yet, anyway. FWIW, from the Castrol link above: Cheers, Ian
Please read the link above - Only Sooty made more successful passes last year...... Now, this is no doubt partly a result of him getting it wrong and falling back etc, but he's been around long enough to not "pull a Hamilton" (). He remains the perfect #2 IMOSHO Cheers, Ian
Indeed. But, again, I don't think there's anyone better for this #2 role out there right now..... Cheers, Ian
I do realize however, this last 2-3 races, Massa have been on fire. Even with the Hungarian spin, he did finish in a respectable position.
Yeh. He's a damned fast driver, but McLaren can keep him and his crap attitude from now till the end of time.
I dunno. I like Hamilton, he is a fighter. Yes, he gets himself into a lot of trouble, but he is one to never give up. Alonso is similar, so I'm not complaining. But if the Scuderia ever looses Fred, I wouldn't mind having Hamilton as a replacement.
As long as Ferrari were winning, nothing else matters. I don't give a rat's back side if the devil himself were to drive the Ferrari. The title says "Alonso would welcome Lewis". Which seems to indicate that Ferrari are not loosing Alonso anytime soon.
Well, sometimes I just don't get it with the folks on here: I think it is fairly obvious who of the current drivers is top and who isn't. I take an Alonso/Hamilton/Vettel anytime in a Ferrari. Who cares what stupid stuff they say in public or not. Some folks can debate a corn of sand.
If the Scuderia looses Fred then yea, but other than that, i hope Hami won't come over. I'll take Mr. Vettel anytime...
Vettel is flaunted by a 'magic carpet' of a car. He wouldn't be so spectacular if they didn't have a second in hand over everyone. Hamilton can have his attitude, it gives him character. Not everyone has to suck up to the FIA and their whacked out rulings. Let him be passionate, at least he shows emotion. Unlike a previous Ferrari driver named Kimi.
I think you're new to F1. Seb in a ferrari would be spectacular, as would McHam. We'd all know it was the car and not the driver is either of these gifted gents would join team red, Fred not withstanding. If either did join and Ferrari continued to struggle, I'd be ecstatic as I detest domination by one marque (lthough I am a tifosi). We'd know irrefutably the car lacked the suds to get it done (under normal hands).
Like he'd welcome crabs in his crotch. The idea sounds appealing but the outcome is a tad uncomfortable.
As far as the fans go, if Bashar Assad, backed up by Mouamar Gaddafi were in Ferraris that were winning the tifosi would be ecstatic. It has nothing to do with personalities, it's all about the brand. It's the same in Soccer and NFL Football and Baseball. Players you hate suddenly become heroes when they are acquired by your team.
Definitely true. I remember the comments on here when Alonso was still driving at Renault. I was one of the few fans he had here. That all changed as he moved to Ferrari and started winning. Still not everybody loves him, but I'd say the majority swung his way. That said, the winning part is crucial: If the guy would have sucked and not delivered results at Ferrari, the mood swing wouldn't have happened. I bet (any beer ) that a similar thing would happen if Hamilton would join Ferrari one day.
