    I have a new Challenge rack that has been sitting in my attic for a couple of years and am finally getting around to installing it. I have the Challenge steering pump installed. Does anybody know how the Challenge rack differs from the stock? The pumps look identical. What is the ratio? Will it get rid of the over assited feeling and sometimes dead fealing of the stock rack?

    I plan to do the same, there are some Challenge owners who can tell us the difference?
    I hope to get rid of this too much assisted feeling too...

    Another fun project for sure.....I always love to pull the front sway bar and steering rack...lol


    For the money spent a mechanical steering rack is not a bad option.....348 owners seem to be able to drive their cars ok w/o power assist...maybe they are more manly than 355 owners..lol

    The 348 does have power steering.................it's in my Popeye sized forearms! :eek::eek:
