I have four lambos... a red Gallardo Spyder, a white Gallardo LP560-4 coupe, a white Diablo Roadster, and a white Countach 25th.

Normally these cars stay safely locked away as a part of my (larger) private collection, but...

Weekend before last, we took the three white Lambos up Route 66 for a fun-run to Pop's Diner.

The following video is provided solely for your entertainment.

Jesus I love the looks of the Roadster, to me personally it blows the other two away.

    I'm so happy I own one :D

But all 3 are stunning in white

I would agree - on all counts!

Far and away, the Diablo (roadster) is my favorite in terms of the lines.

    Dear Lamborghinisti,

Too Freakin' COOL ! This video was done soo well. I just love the James Bond style music and the Miami Vice style feel to the video.

    And that......the VT Roadster....yeah baby...!!

...of course, I may be a bit bias... ;)

    Thanks!

The video was shot (and posted on Vimeo) by one of my staff (our in-house video production guy).

Normally these cars sit in the garage and MIGHT get 100 miles a year on them.

We dragged them out and dusted them off so that we could take a friend of mine (prominently pictured in the video driving the Diablo) and his wife on a trip they wouldn't forget. He's a Royal Air Force liason assigned to Tinker Air Force Base, and he just shipped back to London after spending four years here.

I drove the Countach, he drove the Diablo Roadster, and my wife drove the Gallardo (with his wife in the passenger seat).

Personally, I prefer the Diablo simply for its combination of outlandish looks AND drivability, but the Gallardos are far FAR easier to drive (and faster). The Countach is just a brute.

    Love that blue Diablo!

    Each has it's place.

The Countach is sheer brute force, but with no power steering, no power brakes, a VERY heavy clutch, and 15-inch wheels, it's old technology that will beat you up driving it. Even so, it's a piece of sculpture, and for her place in history I love her.

The Diablo is balanced, elegant, seethes with horsepower, and with the VT transmission, actually has the ability to put it to work. The transmission is far more forgiving than the Countach, and is (clearly) a generation of evolution beyond the Countach. With her exotic lines, she's on a par with the Countach in terms of "rolling art" and historical significance.

The Gallardo Coupe, though pretty, is not AS pretty and certainly not as exotic (does a car without the Lambo-signature scissor-doors really even qualify as a Lambo anymore? LOL), but it HAS been chipped and has a Tubi exhaust on it, making it just stupid-fast. It's by far the fastest car of the lot, and the e-Gear transmission makes it brainless to drive. The diamond-tuck leather and all the other amenities make it feel like you're stepping into a Gucci purse every time you get into the car.

Also have a red Gallardo Spyder with e-Gear. Love the electric drop-top, and it's actually a car that could be workable as a daily driver. It's littered with carbon fibre throughout (dash, handbrake, centre console, door insets, etc), and is just a good all-around driver.

Love them all... but still need to find a mint-condition white Murci and a white Muira to complete the collection. ;o)

If I drove them every time I WANTED to, they would each have over 100,000 miles on them... and that would NOT be a good thing for the value of the collection. It's also not preserving them for future generations to enjoy.

I drive them. Typically I'll take one of the cars out each weekend during summer months when it's not raining. Usually not one of the EXTREME classics like the Countach or the Diablo... usually I take one of the Gallardos or the Lotus Esprit or the Aston Martin or the 65 Corvette.

I drive the old Ferrari daily (rain or shine).
