My 2007 F430 won't start. Just drove it yesterday. Makes a thump thump thump sound when trying to start it. Also weird is that every time I try to start it, the hood pops open. The brake pedal also seems to be stuck to the floor. Any ideas?

I have no idea but I suggest you start simple -- have the battery checked FIRST.

    It's in the passenger footbox.

Don't panic, if the car was working fine up to this point it's probably something relatively simple.

Does the engine turn over (crank)?

Can you describe the thump thump noise or better yet post up a wee video/audio track?

Brake pedal stuck to the floor? Like all the way down? If so is there any evidence of fluid loss under the car?

Unless you are mechanically inclined i'd suggest getting it to a specialist or dealer. Brake issues are not to be taken lightly. You could also have an issue with your battery just as you could have an issue with your CAN network, which is something you can't diagnose/repair without an SD3.
