HELP around about 8 or 10 years on the road the plastic panels and buttons in the 2000 and probably all the marinello series cars start to get gummy feeling is there any way to fix this problem?
Stickynomore.com I believe they are a sponsor here. I've seen their work; excellent and not unreasonable.
Perfect solution. They have done work for me in the past and I have a slew of parts from my 550 heading their way tomorrow.
+2 www.stickynomore.com Robbie has a permanent, oem solution. Not inexpensive, but looks correct, will not go sticky again, and comes with a lifetime warranty. You lose the rubber coating, for a oem looking paint finish that is extremely durable and good looking.
Welcome to FChat! You will receive a lot of excellent assisstance here. Please consider starting a new thread so more users will see your concern in the title listings. In the thread, please tell us a little about your Ferrari and what the unit comprises (is it factory or aftermarket). Pictures are a plus as well. Then, you will get answers from people who have done the work and often on the same car itself. Good luck.
none of the suggestions worked for me so i improvised i am now convinced that there are only 3 sure fire remedies 1 buy a new replacement part 2 send out to stickey no more refinish company 3 use acetone best to take item out of vehicle to work on it use cautiously too much will remove sticky as well as color down to bare plastic after use use a flat or semi gloss black to refinish if you went down to white plastic do not use on any part of lettering as it will remove letters if you chose not to remove the part the acetone does not seem to affect the leather
