    If I just want to change the outboard cv boots, do I still have to disconnect the drive shaft at the tranny? Can you just remove the wheel hub and get it done?

    No. I have rebuilt mine and the hub side of the axcel is sealed/pressed in. The boot has to be installed from the gearbox side of the shaft. The inner side is the only side where the bearings are removable. I am assuming my axcel guy knew what he was doing and showed me the workings of the axcel
