Rick, I know what yours is, the Cali, how about others?

I just bought an Audi A7, gets great gas mileage and I can drive it to my kids school without looking like a showoff.

What are you other California owners driving as your other car.

By the way, I also have a 7 seater for family trips with 3 little boys and luggage. Merc GL450 and I haven't sold my Porsche 911S yet.

Please let's not divulge this discussion into an argument about how the California is a daily driver. I do drive it quite a lot, just not everywhere all of the time.

the 360 will be traded in when the my Cali arrives. Nothing fancy really......thats what the Cali is for.

I use both my Cali and my Abarth 500 (0-100 edition) as a daily driver.

Obviously very different as I live in London but both provide some fun in different ways.

Now you don't expect me to be TOTALLY quiet here do you? :D ... When I drive from Toledo to Detroit Metro Airport for a flight I drive an S550 big boat Mercedes. Or when I go to the R/C model airplane field, and want to take more than one airplane I take the Mercedes. I may get real silly and replace that with an FF though. The Merc lease is up this March.

And I will bet that Jason changes his mind once the Cali shows up. The Cayenne Turbo sounds good and goes quite good (my wife has a brand new one) but it is not a Cali :)

For pleasant top-down summer driving, I alternate between the California and 997.2S.

During Monterey Week, the '62 Jag E-type OTS got the action. My clutch leg got a workout when stuck in uphill stop-go traffic, but the cooling system upgrades together with the coastal weather kept the temp under control.

If I'm driving in inclement weather, stop-go city traffic, parking in exposed areas, or otherwise want to blend in, or for longer trips when my kids need more legroom, the workhorse 2000 BMW 540i 6-speed gets to stretch its legs.

Different tools for different uses. :)

Off topic, but I'd be interested in your impressions of the Abarth. I've fantasized about one as an in-town small errand runner in lieu of a scooter. Then again, I'm thinking a Jolly with the surrey top and wicker seats would be fun!

I may very well indeed. I have already promised myself that I am gonna drive it when I want. Rain or shine. It will NOT be a garage queen.

Although, I do love my Cayenne.

That's my "DD" although during the summer I use my Cali to do anything and everything. For long hauls and city driving the ESV is the one we use....

Have a 2011 Cayenne Turbo as DD (which replaced my E63). Wife has a Disco4 which is a great 7 seater etc. Drive the Cali all weekend if the weather is good, otherwise I drive my 2010 Shelby Mustang.

Maybe a dumb question, but what does "OTS" stand for?

I also drive an Audi A7. Probably the best car for the money that I have found. Works and runs like a charm.

Sorry, vintage Jag-speak: Open Two Seater. In other words, not very practical for families. :)

That's a new one for me. You must have enjoyed Monterey week. I was in Carmel the week prior and saw some wonderful classic's like your Jag in town - what a pleasure to see them being used (to say nothing of plenty of old F cars that were great to see...I do love seeing old Daytonas on the street even if the do spit enough smog to choke you!)
