Conventional wisdom seems to say that if it's not Euro, then it's not a "pure" example. Nice to see so many proudly displayed U.S. spec cars in this thread. My own sexy beast, pic taken by a local fellow Fchatter. (Pls. excuse the background. There's not much else in Dallas) Image Unavailable, Please Login

yes. I agree. The Ferrari 3x8 is timeless and iconic. It is what I picture in my mind when I think of a Ferrari. The body styling in unmistakable. Not to be confused with any other type of car. Always brings a big stupid grin to my face Here's my "Felicity" Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
You'll have to buy the seats and deep spoiler (one in FerrariAds now) but my #20405 (1976) is headed for the paint booth. You want red metallic (Rosso Rubino) or standard "boring red"???? New clutch going in now, brudda, Amanda wanted a Saturn Sky.
They are good solid cars, but the oldest ones are starting to show signs of age....IMO Lots of work to keep "perfect".....
Here are some shots of my 328. I Just got back from a wonderful drive this morning, absolutely no better way to start the day! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It would be interesting to shift this thread from the pure asthetics to the idea in the original title "optimum gt design ever". As a GT car, I would say that a small mid engine design is never best for long distance touring. For short trips on the back roads, a Dino or 308 is hard to beat. It's not really a full on sports car either. I think it's usability is a good all around compromise between the two with one of Farina's all time great shapes.
The 308 GT4 is the optimum GT "design" ever as it is a 4 seater. The GTB on the other hand from a design point of view is space inefficient as only 2 can sit in it. Pete
