Rick, Always enjoy your videos and photos...gotta love the women!! Does the gopro mounts include a tripod screw connection? or do you have to buy something like the Delkin suction mount? I use to have a really good mount, looks the same as the gopro but I only paid $16 shipped for it...unfortunately my dog chewed part of it up and I cannot remember where online I ordered it.
Great shots, I also noticed some 'hand shuffling' but what the hell it was a cool video. It looked like the Texas hill country and I am going to invest in a camera. Thanks for posting.
Thanks! Maybe for Part 2 I will reverse the image just to make you feel more 'at home'! The miracles of software... For the GoPro, get the kit with the suction mount included (or buy separately). There is no screw mounting hole in the bottom for a standard mount. For all of my other cameras, I use Delkin suction mounts - about $30 on Amazon. Great quality and very versatile. I have another video coming soon with Monica at the wheel. I've been saving it for a special occasion...I think you'll like it! Yeah, just a fun drive - wasn't trying out for a F1 seat. The video was shot in SoCal on some great backroads...but yeah, looks a little like Texas hill country.
Reminded me of riding my Kawasaki 600 in 1984 from San Antonio to San marcos. Can you supply the camera model number and trimmings I would like to do some video from my car. Next time can you guys put in a buxom wench in the passenger seat and make sure she has little to wear ? I think that would really seal it.
I have a mishmash of cameras that I've settled on through experimentation. - 1 GoPro HD - 2 Flip Ultra HD - 1 Sony handy cam (wide angle) - 1 Sony point and shoot (wide angle) It takes quite a bit of time to figure out the best placement per car. Lots of trial and error. Each car is different too. The good news is that you have fun while you learn. Best tips: Get great mounts. Get cameras with wide angles. Post your vids on my Facebook "wall" and get some feedback from the "fans". http://www.facebook.com/urgetodrive
