Hi - A friend of mine is interested in this car. No existing paperwork (service records) on the car and no leak down results (yet). Dealer says the valve guides were done in 1999 but cannot prove it. I think something is rotten in Denmark. Anybody know the car and care to share its history good or bad? If it really does have the valve guides done on it, it might be an exceptional value for the $. http://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1995-ferrari-f355--c-312.htm
Looks like a great deal. Strange that any one owner car wouldn't have papers though. The photos show two different tool kits (one is discolored).
Suh-weet looking car. Priced right. The fact that it has all the books and tools and cover with it say a lot about its' provenance. If the motor checks out, just buy the darn thing and drive it.
If there is no proof, then it didn't happen. You could have it checked out, but we've both had our opinions about low mile 355s
