Lagonda purchase is restricted to individuals with a minimum of a BS deg in Elec engineering, with a minor in mechanical or material science. Applicant must have 4 years of progressive experience in digital, and analog to digital circuit design, diagnosis, and troubleshooting.

Ability to work upside down, in poor light and tight conditions is required.

....................Thank you Jason , i expected some goofy replies , but in the NY spotters thread , somebody snapped a photo of a Lagonda cruising the streets of Manhattan , So how much of a mad scientist do you have to be to drive one ? I have heard about digital problems before , but how do they run? if the motor and transmission are mechanically good, like i mean if i can start it , even if i have to hot wire it in case of electrical gremlins, + i can get it to turn over + run , then i am o.k with it .

Clean? This phenomenon occurs when working on the electronics for many hours. It is believed the owner will start to clean a portion of the car while trying to figure out those gremlins. eventually, the entire car becomes clean, but it still doesn't run.

That said, I have always loved the look of these cars.

Wow, I had no idea the Lagonda was so problematic! It's bizarre looking, but I absolutely love the design. Very unique!

The center console looks very nice with the wood, but the dash/HUD looks like something from the Lunar Module. The exterior is just stunning though.

Yeah, I was thinking the digital dash looks more like a Radio Shack TRS-80 computer or Atari video game.

Think Star Trek - the original series. God that command & control center is ugly.

Stumbled? It probably would be preferable to be run over by one. Just saves so much pain.

Thanks for the photos toggie, the first photo the steering wheel is different then the 2 cars i am looking at , probably the year the car is determines which steering wheel the car has, that particular steering wheel is just terrible , and the second photo it appears to have a drip pan under the front of the motor , perhaps a oil leak + they don`t want to ruin the ground at that show . the dash reminds me of a Subaru XT , i don`t like the dash or the digital , but i like the car `s style along with the 4 doors. but Do they run good? Anybody know someone who has one ? i know they are rare .I will say the motors in these cars look big .

^^ The steering wheels sure looks better. That Star Trek interior in the previous interior looked like it had a steering wheel from a Citroen.
